FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Questions families ask about pacing, scheduling, and how the weekly plan works.
What's included in LearnHaus SAT prep each week?▼
Every LearnHaus SAT plan includes 1:1 online tutoring, a written weekly study plan with clear targets, and a short session summary for parents after every session. Your tutor assigns focused practice between sessions and tracks recurring mistake patterns so prep addresses your student's real weaknesses—not a generic topic list. On Elite Score Builder and Concierge Track plans, parents also receive a brief Friday update so you can follow progress without extra calls.
Is LearnHaus a good fit for my student?▼
LearnHaus works best for students who benefit from structure, weekly accountability, and consistent 1:1 support—not just more practice materials. It is most commonly used by 10th–11th graders whose families also want visibility into what is being worked on each week without managing the prep process themselves. If your student is highly self-directed and mainly needs free official practice, a tool like Khan Academy may be enough.
How much do LearnHaus SAT plans cost?▼
SAT plans are $399/month for Score Jumpstart (4 hrs/month), $749/month for Elite Score Builder (8 hrs/month), and $1,299/month for Concierge Track (12 hrs/month)—all month-to-month with no long-term contract. Score Jumpstart includes a weekly plan, targeted homework, and a monthly progress snapshot. Elite Score Builder adds mistake-pattern tracking, an error log, and Friday parent updates. Concierge Track adds priority scheduling, a same-tutor guarantee, and on-call test-week support.
How quickly can we start, and how does tutor matching work?▼
After a short SAT intake, LearnHaus typically recommends a tutor match within 24–48 hours. The match is based on your student's grade, test date, current and target scores, schedule, and main challenges. Tutors are background-checked and selected for SAT expertise and their ability to run a structured weekly plan with consistent parent communication. Once the match is confirmed, the first session is scheduled at a time that works for your family.
How many hours of SAT tutoring does my student need each week?▼
LearnHaus plans are structured around monthly hours: 4, 8, or 12 hours per month. Families usually break those hours into a weekly rhythm that fits their timeline and schedule. A student with a few months until their test date and a manageable score gap often does well with a lighter plan and consistent practice between sessions. Students with tighter deadlines, larger score gaps, or scholarship targets typically benefit from a higher-hour monthly plan.
What does LearnHaus focus on for the digital SAT?▼
Sessions focus on the current digital SAT format—Reading and Writing and Math—using Bluebook-style practice, adaptive module strategy, and targeted mistake review. Tutors work from your student's actual error patterns, not a fixed chapter sequence, so each week's work reflects where points are actually being lost. Families also get practical guidance on Bluebook setup and device logistics so students are comfortable with the format before test morning.
How do you keep parents updated on SAT progress?▼
Parents receive a short session summary after every session on all plans. On Elite Score Builder and Concierge Track, parents also receive a brief Friday update covering that week's progress, what the tutor is targeting next, and assigned practice for the student. This keeps you informed without requiring you to join sessions or schedule additional check-in calls.
When should my student start SAT prep?▼
College Board recommends starting to prepare at least 2–3 months before a test date, which aligns well with a structured weekly plan. For most students, that means treating a spring junior-year SAT as a first serious attempt, then leaving room for at least one more try if needed. Florida families with Bright Futures goals should work backward from the August 31 test-use deadline, not forward from the next available test date.
What score improvement is realistic with LearnHaus?▼
Score improvement depends on your student's starting point, available time, and how consistently they complete assigned practice. LearnHaus is built around a structured weekly plan, targeted mistake review, and steady follow-through rather than a one-size-fits-all score promise. Families should expect progress to depend on both the tutoring plan and the student's work between sessions. Any improvement promise on the site should always be read alongside the current terms and requirements for eligibility.
What if we need to reschedule, pause, or switch tutors?▼
All LearnHaus SAT plans are month-to-month with flexible rescheduling and no long-term contract. Elite Score Builder includes one month of unused-hour rollover where available, and Concierge Track includes two months where available. If a tutor is not the right fit, families can request a rematch, and we review each intake carefully before confirming a match.
