For LearnHaus SAT prep, we typically recommend a match within 24–48 hours after intake. For broader K-12 tutoring, timing depends on subject and schedule, but we still aim to move quickly once your intake is reviewed.
2Are LearnHaus tutors background-checked and vetted?
Yes. Every tutor passes comprehensive background screening and we review experience, references, and trial sessions for teaching quality.
3Is LearnHaus tutoring or coaching?
LearnHaus is K-12 tutoring that includes built-in accountability and organization support. Our tutors help with subject work (math, reading, science, test prep) while also supporting missing assignments, late work, and planning skills. We're not a coaching-only service—we provide academic tutoring with accountability built in.
4Does LearnHaus help with missing assignments and late work?
Yes. Our tutors work with your child to catch up on missing assignments, break down large projects into manageable steps, and build planning skills to prevent future late work. Many parents come to us specifically because their child is falling behind on assignments.
5My child is smart but inconsistent—can LearnHaus help?
Absolutely. This is one of our core strengths. Our tutors provide accountability structures, help break down overwhelming tasks, and work on organization and planning skills. We focus on building the habits and systems your child needs to succeed, not just explaining concepts.
6Does LearnHaus support students with focus or organization challenges?
Yes. While we don't diagnose conditions, our tutors are experienced in supporting students who struggle with planning, organization, time management, and follow-through. We help build systems and routines that work for your child's unique needs. This support is built into our tutoring sessions—you don't need a separate service.
7What if my child refuses to engage?
We work to find a tutor who connects with your child's learning style and interests. If the initial match isn't a good fit, we can rematch to find someone who better engages your child. Sometimes it takes a few sessions for students to warm up, but we're committed to finding the right fit.
8What grades and ages does LearnHaus support?
We support students from kindergarten through 12th grade (ages 5–18). Whether your child is in elementary, middle, or high school, we match them with a tutor experienced at their level.
9How much does online tutoring cost at LearnHaus?
We offer three monthly membership plans: RubyHaus at $299/month (4 hours), EmeraldHaus at $579/month (8 hours), and DiamondHaus at $799/month (12 hours). No hidden fees, cancel anytime. 10Can I reschedule or cancel a tutoring session?
Yes. You can reschedule or cancel within the plan's window. If you cancel late or miss a session, standard penalties may apply per your plan.
11What happens after each tutoring session?
You receive a concise summary highlighting what was covered, progress made, any missing assignments addressed, and recommended next steps, so you always know how things are going.
12Do all LearnHaus tutoring sessions happen online?
Yes. All sessions are 1:1 and online via video call, making scheduling and consistency easier for families. Your child joins via the link provided for each session.
13How do I get started with LearnHaus?

15How much tutoring does my child actually need each week?

16What technology do we need for online tutoring sessions?
You need a computer or tablet with a camera, microphone, and stable internet connection. Sessions happen via video call—no special software required beyond a web browser.
