First steps

Getting started

How does LearnHaus match my child with a tutor?
We review your child's goals, subject needs, schedule, and learning preferences, then follow up with a recommended tutor and plan. Timing depends on subject, schedule, and tutor availability.
How do I get started with LearnHaus?
Start with the intake so we can understand what your child needs. We'll follow up with a recommended tutor and plan, and most families can start quickly once availability is confirmed.
Do all LearnHaus tutoring sessions happen online?
Yes. LearnHaus tutoring is 1:1 and online, so families can keep support consistent without adding a commute.

School support

K-12 tutoring

Is LearnHaus tutoring or coaching?
LearnHaus is online tutoring with built-in structure. Tutors help with subject work, homework, study routines, and follow-through when those skills affect school progress.
Does LearnHaus help with missing assignments and late work?
Yes. Tutors can help students organize missing work, break larger assignments into steps, and build a weekly rhythm that is easier for parents to follow.
Does LearnHaus support students with focus or organization challenges?
Yes. LearnHaus does not diagnose conditions, but tutors can support planning, organization, time management, and follow-through as part of academic tutoring.
What grades and subjects does LearnHaus support?
LearnHaus supports K-12 students across math, reading, writing, homework support, study skills, science when fit allows, and test prep. The subjects page is the best place to browse the main routes.
Is online tutoring effective for younger students?
Many younger students do well with 1:1 online support when the tutor uses age-appropriate pacing, clear visuals, and short interactive steps.

Test prep

SAT prep

Does LearnHaus help with SAT or ACT prep?
Yes. SAT and ACT support routes through the LearnHaus SAT prep path, which is separate from general K-12 tutoring pages and pricing.
How quickly can SAT prep start?
For LearnHaus SAT prep, we typically recommend a match within 24-48 hours after intake. Scheduling still depends on student availability and tutor fit.
Can K-12 tutoring hours be used for SAT prep?
K-12 tutoring and SAT prep are separate paths. If your main need is SAT or ACT prep, start with the SAT page so the recommendation fits that goal.

Plans

Pricing and billing

How much does online tutoring cost at LearnHaus?
K-12 tutoring plan details are listed on the pricing page. SAT prep has its own program path and pricing on the SAT page.
Can I change or cancel a tutoring plan?
Plans are month-to-month. If your family needs a change, LearnHaus will confirm timing, scheduled sessions, and next billing-cycle details before changing the plan.
Can I reschedule or cancel a tutoring session?
Session-change timing depends on the plan. The pricing page explains the current windows, and existing families can contact support if a specific session needs attention.
How much tutoring does my child actually need each week?
Many families start with one or two sessions per week, then adjust once the tutor sees the student's workload, goals, and schedule.

Fit and trust

Tutors and safety

Are LearnHaus tutors background-checked and vetted?
Yes. LearnHaus works with US-based tutors who are screened for subject fit, communication, and safety before working with students.
What if my child does not engage with the tutor?
Fit matters. If the first match is not working, LearnHaus can review what is happening and recommend a better path.
What happens after each tutoring session?
Parents receive a clear session summary with what was covered, what needs attention, and practical next steps.
